When swapping in a 2GRFE V6 into your Toyota MR2, you will notice that there is no way to fill the engine with coolant! The TCS water neck allows you to properly fill the system with coolant, it's a necessary modification when installing one of these engines into any of the MR2 models.
NOTE: This service requires you to send in your 2GR water neck to be modified. We will sandblast it and modify it properly and then send it back to you. Typical turnaround time is less than a week.
We also offer a service that does not require any core! We can modify a Toyota water neck for an additional charge. This will get you a water neck, freshly modified to install. These are typically kept in stock with no wait times, and no need to send in a core water neck. If you do select to purchase a water neck with no core, please make sure to check if the 2GRFE engine you are using has a factory oil cooler or not. There are slight differences between the water necks and this will ensure you receive the correct version.
