This part simplifies the 2GR-FE engine swap by solving the common problem of building a MAF pipe that matches the OEM unit.
The recommended filter is an AEM 21-209EDK that is relatively compact and works well but any 6” filter should fit.
Note that this MAF pipe needs a special calibration, the pipe flows between 20 and 35% more air depending on the location on the map. running this on a stock calibration will result in a very lean condition. This calibration is available on the store with the de-immobilized ECUs. Contact me at Marc@FrankensteinMotorworks.com if you need this calibration on a different ECU. It is strongly recommended to run the 22204-28010 or 22204-0V010 MAF sensor with this pipe. This is what the tunes below were calibrated for.
